Every day, there's something new to see. I had cut back all my Barrenwort and was worried that I didn't see anything coming up. But yesterday, both colours had returned!! How tiny and beautiful!
First the little yellow one - Epimedium x versicolor 'Sulphureum'
The dark pink one appeared as well - Epimedium rubrum
Several new daffodils opened up:
The spectacularly exotic 'Tahiti'
And cute little 'Suzy' with its orange centre
Pushkinia
Bright yellow Euphorbia (or Spurge)
And here come the Hostas!!
Astrid, your Hostas are so high now! mine are the small knobs only.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely are the beauties!

Hi Astrid, I love your Epimediums, especially the pinker one! They are such tiny treasures aren't they? I have only one and must get some more. The Tahiti daffodil is lovely too. The colors are so vivid.
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer
ReplyDeleteI was so worried about the Epimedium! I had cut them back to the ground and didn't see anything coming up for a long time!! But then there they were! And without last year's old growth obscuring the view, the flowers were so much easier to see and to photograph.
I may put in more Thalia and Tahiti daffodils next year - they are my ultimate favourites!
Astrid
I first planted epimediums only a couple years ago, and now they are a favorite. Yours look great! I'm glad to see that you are having a very pretty spring with lots of blooms. I love the Tahiti daffodil!
